Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
At Beaver Development, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website.
Who Is Responsible for Your Data
The company that operates beaver-development.com is the controller of the personal data described here, within the meaning of Article 4(7) GDPR. Its legal name, registered address and registration details are published on our imprint page. Questions about this policy and requests about your data go to the privacy address under Contact Us at the end of this page.
Information We Collect
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways, including:
- Personal Data: Name, email address, phone number, and other contact information you voluntarily provide when contacting us.
- Usage Data: Information about how you access and use our website, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages.
- Cookies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our website. See our Cookie Policy for more details.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- Send you marketing communications (with your consent)
- Improve our website and services
- Analyze usage patterns and trends
- Comply with legal obligations
Why We Process Your Data, and on What Legal Basis
We answer contact form enquiries to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and in our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR). We process a job application to decide whether to enter into an employment relationship with you, which is a step taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We load analytics and marketing tags only after you accept them in the cookie banner, which is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. We run spam protection and error monitoring in our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and free of abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Analytics and Advertising
With your consent to the analytics category we use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the site so we can improve it. These collect pages visited, approximate location, device and browser details, and in Clarity's case how a page is scrolled and clicked.
With your separate consent to the marketing category we load the LinkedIn Insight Tag, run by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. It measures what our LinkedIn campaigns lead to and lets us show our ads to people who have visited the site. Accepting analytics does not load it.
Neither category is requested before you have consented to it, and refusing a category removes its tags. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which makes the banner ask again.
Error Monitoring
When a page throws an error in your browser, we post a report to a Grafana Faro collector that we run ourselves. It is first party, sets no cookie, stores no identifier, and does not follow you between pages or visits.
The report contains the error message, its stack trace and the address of the page it happened on, and nothing else is read out of the page. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site working rather than on your consent, so it is not one of the choices in the cookie banner. Contact us to object.
Spam Protection
Our contact and careers forms use Google reCAPTCHA v3, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to tell real visitors from automated spam. It loads when you start filling in one of the forms, whatever you chose in the cookie banner, and is not loaded on pages where you do not use a form.
reCAPTCHA sends Google information about your browser, device and how you interact with the page, including your IP address, and may set cookies. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the forms free of abuse. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
Disclosure of Your Information
We may share your information in the following situations:
- Service Providers: With third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf
- Legal Requirements: If required by law or in response to valid legal requests
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access to your personal data
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Objection to processing
Complaining to a Supervisory Authority
If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority under Article 77 GDPR, in addition to anything you take up with us. You can choose the authority in the country where you live, where you work, or where the alleged infringement took place. The European Data Protection Board publishes the list of national authorities at edpb.europa.eu. Contacting us first is not required, but the privacy address below is usually the fastest route to a fix.
